Progesterone

Uses:

A hormone, produced primarily by the ovaries. Its main function is to sustain the uterine lining and support the developing ovum. Progesterone has a number of other roles in the body and has target cells in the brain, bone, and nerves. Progesterone also serves as a precursor to other hormones including the adrenal hormones, estrogen, and testosterone.
